Origin & Process

Roast Profile & Use

Roasting Profile:

Limu Ember is a medium-light roast (2.5) that preserves the coffee’s vibrant fruitiness and floral character. The roast highlights winey red grape and citrus zest notes, balanced by a smooth, medium body and refined sweetness. It offers a bright, complex cup that’s both expressive and approachable.

Recommended Use:

Limu Ember shines in filter brewing, Aeropress, and light espresso, and is best enjoyed black to fully appreciate its floral, fruity clarity.

Brew Guide

Master the vibrant and fruity character of Limu Ember with expert brewing tips tailored for clarity and balance.

Espresso: 92–94°C. This produces a complex, fruity shot perfect for adventurous palates.

Filter: For filter brewing methods like V60, Chemex, or Kalita, use 15 grams of coffee per 250 grams of water heated to around 94°C. Grind medium, similar to sea salt, and aim for a brew time of 2:30 to 3:00 minutes to highlight the coffee’s bright fruit and floral notes.

Aeropress: With Aeropress, use 17 grams of coffee and 240 grams of water at 93°C. Bloom with 30 grams of water, stir gently, then steep for 1:30 minutes before pressing slowly for a vibrant, winey cup.
